The National Playwright Competition performance season will kick off on the 16th October at 7.30 with an awards ceremony and supper afterwards. Then the season has three more performances until Sunday 18th October.

Centre Management by Leigh Dillon: "A high-end kitchen appliance manufacturer culls management and the quesion is, who will it be? Its dog eat dog in the cut throat world ofsales and no one's job is safe." Directed by Bruce Cochrane.
 
Memory Stick by Mary Jones: "Memory plays strange tricks on most some of the time, but what if it plays strange tricks all the time?" Directed by Michael Jewell.
 
Pulling the Plug by John Bryan: "Coming to terms with aging is not easy as a father asks his son for the biggest favour he could ask of anyone." Directed by Bruce Cochrane.
 
Youth Award
 
The Text by James McCluskey: "Attacking the teenage Australian stereotype of teenage relationships between sexes and shows these pereptions as incredibly flawed." Directed By Graeme McCoubrie
